Yagi House which I made stay production

Usually I visited Ishito-ji and looked at three storey stone tower before went to Kizugawa.

The stone tower itself (from which the temple also takes its name) was erected during the Nara period (710-794),

and is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property due to being the oldest and largest construction of its kind.

It is said to be a monument built by visitors from Korea out of passion and love for their distant homeland.

It feels like I used to play around here until long as the day goes by here.

Stones provided by Mr. Morioka Stone, bamboo harvested by volunteer staff, soil from

which grilled dishes were produced, and trees.

A handicraft of action that began by drawing a eddies pattern on the surface of a stone,

In relation to the place to be installed, it was carved by the method of Drawing direct

engraving on the stone which has a flat surface．

We express the relationship of equilibrium and neutrality by flat work.

In contrast to direct carving, which plays a centripetal role in the exhibition space

by enriching the volume,

Make the place stand out while spreading the vision by being arranged according

to the characteristics of the space

Try to create a space that is mixed with emptiness and fulfillment.
